Team OIS at UKIO – elevate your workflow efficiencies to a whole new level

Team OIS was delighted to travel to Liverpool recently to attend the UK Imaging and Oncology Congress (UKIO) for 2022. The OIS team takes great pride in selecting the very best solutions to enable clinicians to offer a high-quality, patient-focused treatment experience driven by improved clinical outcomes. The theme for the OIS booth at this year's event was elevating workflow efficiencies, from streamlined patient positioning with the Qfix Alta multipurpose device to OPASCA digitalisation solutions for clinical environments.

Across the event's three days, we were located at Stand B50 and displayed various products at our booth. Some of the products included:

Alta™ Multipurpose Device

Among the products on display, the Alta™ Multipurpose Device generated significant interest. This device provides adaptable immobilisation to meet various clinical setup needs for different treatment types. Attendees could get hands-on with the equipment to see just how lightweight, versatile, and user-friendly the Alta is. The booth was complete with a full range of compatible accessories, including the FlexLock Knee and Foot Supports, ZiFix™ Traverse and SRS Cradle - demonstrating optimal patient positioning.

Integrated Shim Masks

Qfix Integrated Shim Masks from our Head & Neck Immobilisation range were also popular amongst event attendees. Providing advanced patient positioning, the masks can be adjusted without being removed from the patient to increase workflow efficiencies and patient comfort. Visitors to the booth were impressed by the Integrated Shim System, offering a 4mm range of adjustment in 0.5mm increments.

OPASCA Workflow Suite

The OPASCA Workflow Suite gathered considerable interest at the event, with many intrigued by the product's ability to simplify complex clinical routines. By ensuring interconnection and efficiency in all processes, OPASCA allows more time for individual and focused patient care. The Workflow Suite includes modular solutions, such as Patient Check-In: Autonomous registration with the patient pass; Patient Calling: Acoustic and visual patient call via data protection-compliant colour-number combination; and Patient Guidance: Dynamic, individual patient guidance via colour-number combination on a screen-based guidance system.

NeoMedLight CareMin650™

Last but not least, we also featured the NeoMedLight CareMin650™ on the booth. CareMin650™ is a groundbreaking phototherapy system revolutionising the treatment of oral mucositis and radiation dermatitis. CareMin650™ is a cost-effective, patient-friendly solution that is easily integrated into therapeutic practice. The system can greatly simplify the delivery of photobiomodulation therapy, and it was fantastic to discuss this with event attendees who visited our stand.

And that's a wrap on UKIO 2022!
